Alvin Feltman, a native of Lexington, SC, holds a BS in Forest Resources from Mississippi State University. A Registered Forester in SC and a Certified Forester with the Society of American Foresters, he has six years of service on the Board of Directors of the Upper Savannah Land Trust and three years on the Newberry County Forestry Association. Alvin is a Laurens and Spartanburg county landowner and a member of the American Tree Farm System, Society of American Foresters (SAF), Association of Consulting Foresters, Forestry Association of South Carolina, Quality Deer Management Association, and Newberry County Forestry Association. He is an active participant in the Environmental Quality Incentive Program, and the Conservation Stewardship Program. As a real estate Broker with over 40 years of experience in private, public, and consultant Forestry, he will be a valuable asset for you in all your agricultural and woodland real estate transactions. He specializes in rural properties of Low County, Midlands, and Upstate South Carolina.
DIANE FELTMAN - OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR, PRESCRIBED BURNER
Diane provides a high quality level of support to the Southern Woodland Associates, LLC team and their clients. She takes care of the many behind-the-scenes operations allowing the team members to concentrate on what they do best – planning, management, consulting, administrating, appraising, and listing/selling of land and timber. Diane has 15 years of experience as an office administrator. She has experience in several areas of business which include legal record keeping, consulting documentation, and business marketing. Diane also provides exceptional support to the prescribed burn program as fire line patrol and firefighter support. Diane enjoys outdoor activities such as RV camping, hiking, birding, crafting, and searching open areas for Amethyst. She also enjoys spending time with her grandsons, Gus, Rhett, and Nash.

MIKE MEETZE - REGISTERED ENGINEER, PRESCRIBED FIRE MANAGER
Mike Meetze, a native of Newberry, SC, holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Clemson University. A Registered Professional Engineer in SC, he currently serves on the Newberry County Planning Commission, the Newberry County Farm Bureau, SC Forestry Commission-(Newberry County Board), and he is Vice-Chair of the SC Tree Farm Committee. He has served as board member for the Forestry Association of SC and is currently serving on the SC Farm Bureau Land Use Advisory Committee. Mike owns timberlands in Union and Newberry Counties and is participating in the Conservation Reserve Program, Environmental Quality Incentive Program, Conservation Stewardship Program, and Indian Creek Habitation Restoration Project. Mike has a strong heritage and love for Forestry and Forest Management which was on display when he received the 2013 Tree Farmer of the Year Award.
TYLER FELTMAN, PRESCRIBED FIRE MANAGER
Tyler Feltman, a native of Cross Anchor, SC holds an Associate of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Horry-Georgetown Technical College. Tyler has firsthand experience in Metes and Bounds surveying, Timber Management, Boundary Location, and Prescribed Burning. His experience contributes immensely to the on the ground, project work accomplishments for clients of Southern Woodland Associates, LLC. Tyler has contributed his services and financial support to to conservation organizations such as the Quality Deer Management Association, Ducks Unlimited, and the Upper Savannah Land Trust. This has added to his love for the outdoors and enhances his commitment to Southern Woodland Associates, LLC, especially with the Prescribed Burn Program. Tyler’s recreational interests include fishing, boating, river floats, hunting, and camping. He is married to Rhonda Starnes Feltman, and resides in Cross Anchor, SC.
JOEL FELTMAN
Joel Feltman, a native of Cross Anchor, SC (now residing in Fort Mill, SC) holds a B.S. degree in Forest Resource Management and a Masters degree in Forest Resources, both from Clemson University. Joel is experienced in both GIS and consulting forestry. He provides Southern Woodland Associates with mapping and drone services. Joel is also a SC Registered Forester and certified through the Society of American Foresters. In his spare time, Joel enjoys being in the outdoors, golfing, and being out on the lake.

Madeline Feltman, a native of Abbeville, SC (now residing in Fort Mill, SC) holds a B.S. degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences and a Masters degree in Agricultural Education, both from Clemson University. Madeline maintains the Southern Woodland Associates website and creates drone videos for new property listings. In her spare time, Madeline enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and reading.
